चिट फंड कई जगहों पर एक आम तरीका है पैसे जमा करने और उधार लेने का। लेकिन जब हम इसे बाइबल की नजर से देखते हैं, तो ये तरीका कई बार गलत साबित होता है। इसके पीछे का तरीका और इसमें होने वाले नुकसान, मसीही विश्वास और सच्चाई के खिलाफ जा सकते हैं।

1. धोखा और नुकसान का खतरा
चिट फंड आपसी भरोसे पर चलते हैं, लेकिन कई बार इसमें लोग एक-दूसरे को धोखा देते हैं। कुछ लोग पैसा लेकर भाग जाते हैं या किसी को जानबूझकर पहले पैसा दिलवा देते हैं। बाइबल कहती है (नीतिवचन 11:1): “धोखेबाज़ तराज़ू यहोवा को नापसंद है, लेकिन सही माप उसे पसंद है।” अगर एक आदमी गलती करता है, तो सबको नुकसान होता है।

2. ज़रूरत से ज़्यादा बोझ लेना
परमेश्वर चाहता है कि हम अपने पैसों का सही इस्तेमाल करें (लूका 16:11)। चिट फंड में कई लोग मजबूरी में पैसा उठाते हैं और फिर बाद में किश्तें नहीं भर पाते। इससे वे और मुश्किलों में फँस जाते हैं। रोमियों 13:8 कहता है, “किसी से कुछ उधार मत रखो, सिवाय एक-दूसरे से प्रेम करने के।”

3. साफ़-सुथरे नियम नहीं होते
चिट फंड आमतौर पर किसी सरकार या संस्था के नियमों के बिना चलते हैं। कोई गड़बड़ी हो जाए तो शिकायत करने की जगह भी नहीं होती। बाइबल कहती है कि जिन्हें ज़िम्मेदारी दी गई है, उन्हें भरोसेमंद और ईमानदार होना चाहिए (1 कुरिन्थियों 4:2)।

4. रिश्तों में खटास
जब चिट फंड में झगड़े होते हैं, तो दोस्ती और रिश्ते बिगड़ जाते हैं। कई बार परिवारों और चर्च के लोगों के बीच भी दूरियाँ आ जाती हैं। लेकिन बाइबल कहती है कि हमें शांति और मेलजोल बनाए रखना चाहिए (इफिसियों 4:3)।

नतीजा
चिट फंड देखने में आसान लगते हैं, लेकिन इसमें कई खतरे छिपे होते हैं। मसीही लोगों को चाहिए कि वे सच्चाई, समझदारी और प्यार से पैसे का इस्तेमाल करें। इसके बदले में, अगर हम एक-दूसरे की मदद करें और पारदर्शी (खुले) तरीके से पैसे बचाएं, तो यह परमेश्वर की इच्छा के ज़्यादा करीब होगा।

Why Chit Funds Are Wrong: A Christian View

Chit funds are a common way for people to save and borrow money. But when we look at them from the Bible’s point of view, they often turn out to be wrong. The way they work and the problems they cause can go against Christian values and truth.

1. Risk of Cheating and Loss
Chit funds depend on trust, but many times people cheat each other. Some run away with the money or help someone unfairly. The Bible says (Proverbs 11:1): “The Lord doesn’t like cheating, but He is happy with honesty.” If one person does wrong, everyone gets hurt.

2. Taking Too Much Pressure
God wants us to use our money wisely (Luke 16:11). In chit funds, people sometimes take money when they are in need, but later can’t pay back the monthly amount. This puts them in more trouble. Romans 13:8 says, “Don’t owe anyone anything—except to love one another.”

3. No Clear Rules
Chit funds usually don’t follow government or proper rules. If something goes wrong, there’s no place to complain. The Bible says people who are given responsibility should be honest and faithful (1 Corinthians 4:2).

4. Problems in Relationships
When fights happen in chit funds, friendships and family bonds get damaged. Even people in the church can grow apart. But the Bible tells us to keep peace and stay united (Ephesians 4:3).

Chit funds may look simple, but they have many hidden dangers. Christians should handle money with honesty, care, and love. Instead of chit funds, if we help each other and save money in an open and clear way, it will please God more.
